Pavrette and Central Michigan host Robert Morris

Central Michigan would be hosting the Robert Morris Colonials after Nicolas Pavrette had scored 25 points in Central Michigan’s 89-50 win against the Alma Scots. The Chippewas had gone 3-0 in the home games. Central Michigan is ranked fifth in the MAC with 9.4 offensive rebounds per game, led by Microlsave Staff, averaging 1.7. The Colonials are currently 1-3 on the road. Robert Morris is ranking second in the Horizon, which would allow 65 points while holding opponents to 43.1 % shooting. Kevin Miller had shooted 51.9% and is averaging 18.5 points for the Chippewas.

Jesse Zarzuela has been averaging 15.2 points for Central Michigan. Josh Corbin is averaging 3.6 made three-pointers per game for the Colonials and has scored 13.2 points while shooting 48.5% from beyond the arc. Kahlil Spear has been averaging 14.3 points and 7.8 rebounds for Robert Morris.

Robert Morris Colonials men’s basketball team represents Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, United States. The school team is currently competing in the Horizon League. Their head coach Andrew Toole is in his eighth season at RMU. In a rugged basketball contest, Robert Morris had put together a decisive 7-0 run late in the game and fended off host Central Michigan for a 71-66 men’s basketball win at the McGuirk Arena. Jesse Zarzuela had returned to the Central Michigan lineup after missing their last two games. He secured career-high 25 points on 7-17 shooting. He had also tied a career-high by hitting the 4-8-3 pointers.

The contest had marked their second 20-point game this year. Markus Harding had also returned after missing the last six games and had finished with 13 points and seven rebounds. Freshman Reggie Bass added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Chippewas. For Robert Morris, Josh Corbin had shone through with 20 points and a 6-11 3-point performance. Kahill Spear also did the damage down low and finished with 18 points. Enoch Cheeks tallied 17 points and four assists. Overall, Robert Morris had a fantastic game in all aspects.
